Data is based on 2012 staffing levels and workloads calculated by the Wisconsin State Prosecutor's Office using a formula created by the nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau. There are 71 listings because the state's smallest county, Menominee, is combined with the district attorney's office in adjoining Shawano County. *(Note: Milwaukee County is excluded by default, since its high staff count skews the graph size.
